Allocation of the various roles in a play to the actors. At the Comédie-Française the cast is drawn up jointly by the Managing Director and the stage director. The cast can vary depending on the roles held by actors in alternating performances. At the Salle Richelieu, all the roles apart from walk-on parts, are held by members of the Comédie-Française company of actors. |
