Reading Committee |
Chaired by the Managing Director, the Reading Committee consists of twelve members. These include all the Executive Committee members and four key figures from the literary and theatrical world. The latter are appointed for two seasons by the French Minister for Culture on the Managing Director's proposal. The Reading Committee takes decisions on whether to include works in the Salle Richelieu's repertoire at the Comédie-Française. There are about 3,000 plays in the current repertoire. |
