Elliot Jenicot became a pensionnaire at the Comédie-Française on September 26, 2011. He has since played the roles of Astolfo and Montefeltro in Victor Hugo’s Lucrèce Borgia directed by Denis Podalydès, of Egeus and The Fairy in Shakespeare’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream staged by Muriel Mayette-Holtz, of the King in Andersen’s The Princess And The Pea staged by Édouard Signolet, of Rozencrantz and Guildenstern in Shakespeare’s The Tragedy of Hamlet directed by Dan Jemmett, of Abbâs and the Servant in Saadallah Wannous’s Rituals of Signs and Transformations directed by Sulayman Al-Bassam.
He has further performed the roles of Don Ricardo, a Mountaineer and a Conspirator in Victor Hugo’s Hernani directed by Nicolas Lormeau, of Achille de Rosalba, a young fellow in Eugène Labiche’s An Italian Straw Hat directed by Giorgio Barberio Corsetti, of Le vingt et unième siècle (The twenty-first century) in Une histoire de la Comédie-Française, written by Christophe Barbier and staged by Muriel Mayette-Holtz, of Bazile and Double-Main in Beaumarchais’ The Marriage of Figaro directed by Christophe Rauck and of The Bride’s Father in Bertolt Brecht’s A Respectable Wedding directed by Isabel Osthues.


Before joining the Comédie-Française, Elliot Jenicot starred in "One man shows" in different artistic fields (street theater, circus, music-hall, and theater). He has led as well some gestural theater workshops in Germany, Spain and Portugal.
