The Comité d'administration rules on major institutional decisions, the budget and accounts of the institution. It deliberates on matters of importance to the life of the Troupe, including proposals for appointment to the sociétariat.
Chaired by the Administrateur général, it comprises seven full sociétaire members and two alternate sociétaire members. It is renewed each year, with the exception of the Doyen, who is a standing member. The Doyen is the longest-serving sociétaire currently active since their engagement as a pensionnaire.
Of the six sociétaires serving for one year, three full members and one alternate are elected by the general assembly of sociétaires; three full members and one alternate are appointed by the Minister of Culture on the proposal of the Administrateur général.
