School audiences
The Comédie-Française aims to introduce theatre and the classical and contemporary repertoire to as many pupils as possible, offering tailored support and paying particular attention to social and geographical inclusion. Each season, 30,000 school pupils attend a performance in one of the three Comédie-Française venues.

Bound by a triennial agreement with the Ministry of National Education, Higher Education and Research, as well as with the Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Food Sovereignty, the Comédie-Française pursues several educational objectives.
A partnership and inclusion policy prioritising social and geographical outreach for:
schools in priority education networks (REP)
agricultural secondary schools and schools in rural areas
vocational secondary schoolsl
young refugees in France enrolled in secondary schools, in collaboration with CASNAV (the academic centre for the schooling of newly arrived pupils and traveller children)
Schools enrolled in one of the following frameworks — Une saison à la Comédie-Française, Parcours/Traversée, Découverte and Agro-découverte — benefit from a programme combining performances, visits, artistic and technical encounters, and practical workshops.
A strengthened educational dimension at national and international level, including:
cinema screenings of theatre productions through the La Comédie-Française au cinéma scheme
privileged links with schools in French overseas territories
a competition, Les jeunes rendent hommage à Molière, open to all primary and secondary schools in France and abroad.
A cross-disciplinary approach to the arts through:
a discovery pathway through the collections of partner cultural institutions
