The Comité de lecture examines texts proposed by the Administrateur général for admission to the Répertoire of the Comédie-Française. Chaired by the Administrateur général, it is composed of the sociétaire members of the Comité d'administration and four individuals designated by the Minister of Culture on the proposal of the Administrateur général.
