What is the work of the actor? What is his art made of and how is his practice, his profession and his training constituted?
For the eight season, the writer and journalist Olivier Barrot will welcome actors from the Troupe on the stage of the Studio-Théâtre, to question them about their apprenticeship years and the mechanics of their art. In the course of the interview, the actors will speak about their schools and teachers, how they learned to walk on a stage, to have consideration for their partners, to utter prose, to recite the alexandrine meter, to control their breathing and concentration and to master silence. Theory, application, every aspect of this most particular but actually little known work will be examined up close.
