“Louison, Agnès, Armande, Henriette, Arsinoé,Célimène, Elvire, Madame Pernelle, Dorine... all so different but all comingfrom one and the same heart, that of Molière.
In these Ex-traits de femmes, I would like togive the impression that they are one and the same person at different times inher life, or that they are sisters, so prominent is this air of family theyshare, which allows them to recognise each other and which the world perceivesin their common expressions.
A text that is one and the same too, imagining thatMolière’s pen has not left his hand, guided by his inspiration, to insert theseportraits in one single painting.
The production will integrate animation sequences toexpress the unconscious, the inexpressible, to make ghosts appear. The artist’sline linking together all these people who betray, lie, question, probe and saywhat’s on their mind, in a word, who love.
