  • The actor’s motto, Simul et singulis, immediately places him or her at the heart of a paradox: being together and being oneself, at one time, in one place, in one entity.
    Throughout the season, the new Paradox(es) series will take the form of a gallery of acting portraits. The birth of a desire for theatre, elective affinities with the repertoire, the practice of acting, the relationship to the spaces of the theatre from the boards to the dressing room, totemic or superstitious objects, each actor will decrypt the hic et nunc of his or her art during a long interview.

    CLAUDE MATHIEU
    Doyenne depuis 2017 et sociétaire depuis 1985. La saison dernière elle a joué dans Roméo et Juliette de Shakespeare mis en scène par Éric Ruf et Phèdre de Sénèque mise en scène par Louise Vignaud. Cette saison, on la retrouvera dans Fanny et Alexandre d'Ingmar Bergman mis en scène par Julie Deliquet, Salle Richelieu, en alternance du 9 février au 16 juin 2019 et dans Électre / Oreste d'Euripide mis en scène par Ivo van Hove, Salle Richelieu, en alternance du 27 avril au 3 juillet 2019.
