Launched during the 2023-2024 season, our series C’est lundi au Vieux-Co (Vieux-Co Mondays) is the perfect opportunity to get an overview of key artists and common themes through six unique sessions: readings, lectures, and sometimes music sessions featuring leading figures of the arts, each ready to share expert yet highly accessible perspectives. Fashioned in accordance with the baccalauréat curriculum or milestone anniversaries, the Lundi au Vieux-Co series is an invitation to cast a joyful, sidelong glance on things.

  • “It has always been obvious to me that our missions as a cultural institution and the general missions fulfilled by agriculture were connected. They are about planting, raising, letting grow, watching, respecting how long growth can take, leaving land uncultivated in the basic yet fundamental goal of feeding oneself and the community”, said Éric Ruf last season, when the Comédie-Française signed the first ever convention between a National Theatre and the Ministry of Agriculture. This decision started off an in-depth program aimed at students from agricultural schools. And as a lucky coincidence, 2026 marks the 60th anniversary of social and cultural education, implemented in 1966 by statesman Edgard Pisani, making the arts and culture central to education.
