A living heritage. Every space in the Comédie-Française speaks of its history, its richness and specificity stemming from more than three centuries of continuous activity. The library-museum team, under the direction of its curator-archivist, is responsible for the preservation and promotion of the exceptional heritage of the House of Molière.
The Comédie-Française proposes guided tours to discover its history and inner workings through its collections of artworks and the principles upon which it operates: the Troupe, the Repertoire, the alternating programme, the three stages and the theatre trades. In short, an insight into the life of a theatre that gives nearly nine hundred performances per season.
