You are a teacher and you would like to take your students to the Comédie-Française? You represent a cultural service, an arts office, a student society, a university or third level establishment and wish to reserve seats for student groups? It is the Comédie-Française’s mission to introduce school audiences to the repertoire and familiarise them with both classical and contemporary works.
Broadening its social and geographical scope is a priority for the Comédie-Française. Since 2012 it has had an agreement with the Ministry of Education to build customised partnerships with 70 schools in France, with a particular focus on establishments in priority education zones or situated in rural areas, as well as technological and vocational schools. This partnership policy, extended over the entire country and abroad, reaches more than 2,500 students in the framework of three types of agreement: Jumelage (Twinning), Fil Rouge (Red Line) and Découverte (Discovery).
Booking requests are made by email only from June, and are processed by order of arrival.

Before each payment, a pro forma invoice will be sent by the Comédie-Française to the school. All groups must send their payment at least one month before the date of the performance, failing which the booking will be cancelled without notice.
Prices
School groups benefit from a reduced rate:
Salle Richelieu: €16 in category B - €10 in category C
Théâtre du Vieux-Colombier: €10
Studio-Théâtre: €10
Series (Greniers, Pardoxe(s), Special Days): €6
Minimum of 10 tickets per performance
Supervision
For security reasons, it is imperative for school groups to have an accompanying adult for every ten pupils. With the proper supervision of these groups in mind, the Comédie-Française offers one free place in category C for accompanying adults, at the rate of one adult per ten pupils.
Molière guided walk
The Comédie-Française proposes a guided walk through Paris to discover Molière for school groups (primary school pupils from ages 10 and up, secondary school pupils and students in higher education). From the church of Saint-Eustache, where he was baptised, to the Rue de Richelieu, his final home, participants learn about the life of the actor, author and troupe leader. The journey ends at the Comédie-Française, where Molière remains the “Patron”, the boss.
The price is €130 per group for a visit lasting 90 mins.
