“It is a rare thing in the House of Molière to be alone on stage yet the actors sometimes have a yearning for it”, states Éric Ruf.
In each show of this festival, the actor is given the chance to be “the Alpha and Omega of a text, its only one and only servant”.
A “winning story”, warns Etgar Keret, “doesn’t just tell itself, it listens, it lends its ear to the murmurs in people’s hearts”. Noam Morgensztern draws an everyday humour from these short stories that constantly veer into the absurd.
