In parallel to her studies at the Institute of Oriental Languages of Paris, Suliane Brahim acted in Yasushi Inoue’s The Hunting Gun performed at the Comédie de Saint-Étienne in 1996 in a staging by Martine Logier. She joined the École nationale supérieure des arts et techniques du théâtre (National Higher School for Performing Arts and Techniques – ENSATT), in 1998, where she worked with Jerzy Klesyk, who directed her in Howard Barker’s The Possibilities staged in 2000 at the Théâtre de la Tempête. During the same year, she played the role of Marie in The Return to the Desert by Bernard-Marie Koltès, under the direction of Thierry de Peretti at the Théâtre de la Bastille.

In 2003, she played the role of Angélique in the staging of Molière's The Imaginary Invalid by Philippe Adrien. Thereafter, she has worked several times under the direction of Jeanne Champagne, Henry Ronse and Jacques Kraemer.
In 2007, she performed in Marina Tsvetaeva’s Le Gars (The Guy) directed by Vladimir Pankov at the Meyerhold Center in Moscow, and, in January 2009, in Bertolt Brecht’s Hans in Luck at the Théâtre de la Bastille directed by François Orsoni.
In the cinema, she worked under the direction of Yann Piquer in The Trip to India (Le Voyage en Inde) and Claire Devers in Lost Seamen (Les Marins perdus).

Suliane Brahim joined the Comédie-Française in 2009 and is now the 529th sociétaire. She has played the role of Gennaro in Hugo’s Lucrezia Borgia directed by Denis Podalydès, of Hermia in Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream, and of She in Duras’s The Malady of Death staged by Muriel Mayette-Holtz.
Suliane Brahim has also enacted the roles of Elvire in Molière’s Don Juan directed by Jean-Pierre Vincent, of Solvejg, a daughter of the desert, and of a Troll in Ibsen’s Peer Gynt directed by Éric Ruf, of the Rose, The Three-Petaled Flower, and The Echo in Saint-Exupéry’s The Little Prince staged by Aurélien Recoing, of Lisette in Marivaux’s The Game of Love and Chance directed by Galin Stoev.

Lastly, she played the roles of Rosette in de Musset's Don’t Trifle with Love (On ne badine pas avec l’amour) directed by Yves Beaunesne, of Maria in Fausto Paravidino’s La Maladie de la famille M. (The Disease of Family M.) staged by the author himself, of Cléone in Racine’s Andromache directed by Muriel Mayette-Holtz, of Élise in Molière’s The Miser directed by Catherine Hiegel, of Isabelle in Corneille’s L'Illusion comique directed by Galin Stoev, of Amelia Recchia and Rose Intrugli in Eduardo De Filippo’s Grand Magic staged by Dan Jemmett, of Élikia in Suzanne Lebeau’s The Sound of Cracking Bones (Le bruit des os qui craquent), and of Violette in Carine Lacroix’s Burn Baby Burn directed by Anne-Laure Liégeois.
